This project is part of the Housing Fixture series which was designed to help create an interior identity for Daelim Industrial. we designed switches, thermostats, and outlets consistently and tried to differentiate items from existing products by using square shapes instead of the more commonly used rectangle shapes.
Daelim Industrial is a long-time client of SWNA. In order to integrate items in various spaces, we designed products for the entire apartment including switches, handles, wall pads, security and security strategy systems, door locks, parking blocks, and lighting.
We started with the switches. We wanted to create a design that was large and easy to turn on, while keeping the proportions of the square. We thought that the direct relation of the square with 'sincerity makes,' which is the underlying philosophy of apartments built under the Daelim e-comfortable world brand.
To apply the square design, we had to change the electrical configuration of the apartment's building plan. This was done in close collaboration with the electrical equipment team.
