“Strol” is a select shop that maximizes the offline experience with the combination of products with stories, contents selected by a merchandiser, and spaces that change over time. Strol, which was motivated by “stroll”, a word meaning taking a walk, differentiates its moving line from other stores. The stairs across the façade create a landscape of various acts within the space, while visitors are walking up and down or sitting on the stairs.
The furniture horizontally placed along the stairs not only plays a role as a stand to display products, but also as an installation to fill the store with the moving wall. Visitors can walk around the shop as if they were in an exhibition hall.
The lounge hidden inside the shop is a special place for residents with a bookcase and a whiskey shelf, and is available as a private or public space using a curtain. Apart from the entrance to the store, the lounge covered with a curtain at the end of the transition space stimulates your curiosity.
The location and purpose of the furniture and moving wall composing the space vary with products sold in the store or seasons, creating a familiar yet different atmosphere.
