The Bambi Chair is designed by dividing a circle in half to create the seat and backrest, achieving a visually refined form. Each piece was crafted using CNC machining based on digital modeling, which reinterpreted traditional woodworking methods to minimize material waste. Using a 5-axis CNC machine, the structure was optimized for efficiency, reducing the number of components.
The joint structure was developed to minimize the use of nails and adhesives, with iterative prototyping and digital modeling to improve durability and assembly.
