Drawing inspiration from BMW’s five signature materials—crystal, alcantara, cashmere, carbon, and leather—objects were designed, produced, and installed to complement the car model.
'Leather Cascade' embodies BMW’s spirit of expansion and innovation through its composition of soft curves and sharp angles, extending outward in five directions.
'Alcantara Curve' showcases Alcantara wrapped around the linear, allowing visitors to see and touch the material, experiencing its superior grip and high functionality. The design reinterprets the circular shape of a car steering wheel into a twisted, rhythmic line.
'Cashmere Boom' invites users to experience the softness and warmth of cashmere through its tactile qualities, enhanced by an integrated heating system.
'1-2-3D Crystal' combines crystal with metal to visually amplify the intricate and delicate effect of lighting.
'Carbon Spacewalk' visualizes the dynamic qualities of carbon, presenting it through large and small pieces that are lightweight yet strong and sleek.
