MAMA Trophy for CJ ENM
2022
The 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) trophy takes inspiration from transmission towers and satellites. The straight elements of the transmission tower symbolize growth and ascension, while the satellite represents the connection between fans and artists.
While previous trophies were heavy and lacked grip, potentially hindering performances, the current trophy is prefabricated to reduce weight and was tested for stability with a paper mockup. The MAMA logo is also visible from the bottom, a meticulous detail completes the design.
