Normal Furniture Series for Matter & Matter

The Normal Series is Matter & Matter’s lineup focused on a simple, silhouette-driven design. The proportions are akin to standard chairs, yet this series reinterprets ‘simplicity’ through the Matter & Matter perspective. The design process involved sketches, 3D modeling, and paper prototypes.
Prototypes and technical drawings created in Seoul were sent to Indonesia for initial review. At the Indonesian site, adjustments were made where needed, with cut-and-paste modifications checked and refined as part of the prototyping process.
