In general, sketches are done on flat surfaces, but the environment in which we live in is three dimensional. Drawing three-dimensional objects on flat paper and drawing three dimensional objects as three dimensional spaces involve different processes. Wire is flat, but when you bend it, it becomes three dimensional. When I actually make objects that go from a flat sheet of paper to a three dimensional object, they turn out a little different compared to what I envisioned in my mind. When I started designing a bench for the Sum project exhibition, I applied this three dimensional sketch to create a model.
