Robot Design for Samsung

SWNA worked with Samsung Electronics on an advanced robot design project aimed at breaking away from the architecture used in previous humanoid robots, and developing a new robot with a brand-new form factor optimized for residential environments. In particular, SWNA researched new form factors and materials that could hide the hard mechanical components of robots, and present an interface capable of facilitating interactions that could potentially evoke an emotional response from users.
