The "Curtained Wall" installation at the Gwangju Design Center mimics the movement of curtains in the wind, realized through 3D-printed concrete. The design features folds at the base, enabling the pieces to stand independently, simulating natural motion while exploring material possibilities.
Five Curtained Walls were generated through digital wind simulations by capturing dynamic movements in different conditions and translating them into physical structures. During this process, research was conducted to create a self-supporting structure that could stand on its own.
