Bambi Chair for CNC Process

SWNA designed the chair by cutting a circle in half, using the half as a seat and the other half as a backrest, and the Bambi chair was assembled and completed with CNC machining. Based on the digital modeling method, each part was carved and produced with a CNC process and experiments for manufacturing.
We responsibly? created the model with a five-axis machine for minimizing parts, thereby reducing the loss of materials, and prototyped and digitally modeled the chair to structurally improve the joint with minimum use of nails and joint bonds. There are two versions based on section types (Circle and Square Bambi chairs).
