In 2019, SWNA collaborated with SKT on an advanced design project for the company’s AI robot, and developed an interfaced specialized for communicating with users. SWNA began its design based on research results showing that people communicated less than 50% of the time verbally, while communicating more often using visual cues such as gestures, and facial expressions. Based on such insight into human communication, SWNA designed an architecture for SKT’s AI robot optimized for movements and gestures.
