When I actually make objects that go from a flat sheet of paper to a three dimensional object, they turn out a little different compared to what I envisioned in my mind. When I started designing a bench for the Sum project exhibition, I applied this three dimensional sketch to create a model. In general, sketches are done on flat surfaces, but the environment in which we live in is three dimensional. Drawing three-dimensional objects on flat paper and drawing three dimensional objects as three dimensional spaces involve different processes.
The wire is flat, but bent wire becomes solid. A wire can be a plane line as well as a three-dimensional line. We could imagine things differently to draw a line on a plane and on a three-dimensional surface.
