Trophy Design for The Pak Kyongni Prize

SWNA designed the trophy for the PAK KYONGNI PRIZE, established to honor the novelist Pak Kyong-Ni's spirit and achievements. We tried to express her life as a writer through the harmony of contrasting materials and shapes, using images from her life and literature as formative motifs. The hand-carved wood and the shining metal pattern below represent the seeds and the sun, reminiscent of the artists who built their own lives and writers' worlds amidst the pains of life.
