The project started based on the idea of designing light fixtures in zero gravity. The design was made with the imagination on how light floats in the air in a weightless state. Specifically, the light fixture is suspended in zero-G, and the shape in which the light shines serves as the leg of the stand.
It was a radio series with the trimmed shape of light and the development of the sound emitted from the device. As this object can be grabbed and operated like a lantern, Zero G Light Series was described as a reinterpretation of a conventional radio into a ‘Flashlight for Music'.
It was exhibited at the 2010 SuperStudio in Milano and its mass production was reviewed in collaboration with an Italian manufacturer SELLETI. This object was also included in the book called “Modern Lighting Design” published in Germany in 2011.
